AASF’S 24th ANNUAL SHOOTOUT
OCTOBER 25-26

You’re Invited

We’re celebrating the 24th Anniversary of
Austin Athletics Scholarship Foundation which, thanks to generous donors, has handed out more than $2.2M to deserving student-athletes over the past 23 years.

This year’s annual Player Party will be held
Friday night at TBD.

The evening will kick off at a TBD time with a
Cocktail Hour and Silent Auction followed by dinner and then the Main Event with Live Auction and Team Auctions.

It’s going to be the party of the year ~
YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS IT!

Play Tennis

Saturday morning, all the action moves onto the courts at Austin Tennis Academy, where you might say, money talks from the
end of a tennis racquet.

Teams square off against one another
in a Calcutta-style tournament.
In the Shootout, the ‘playing of chips’
can become more important than
how well the ball is served.

Breakfast will be served at 7:45 AM, warm-up starts at 8:00 AM, matches begin at 9:00 AM and lunch will be served at 11:00 AM..

So, if you’ve got what it takes to win, raise lots of money, and have a great time…
WE WANT YOU!

Impact Lives

More than 22 years ago Jack Newman and others who created Austin Tennis Academy saw a gap, a barrier being faced by many families, and created a 501(c)3 non-profit called Austin Athletics Scholarship Foundation as a way to try to minimize that divide.

Too often money was standing in the way
of kids getting a real shot at being able
to go after their dreams.

While the Shootout is AASF’s primary fundraising event, it’s the people who believe in and support our mission making the biggest impact. Donors and sponsors, like you, are the HEROES MAKING DREAMS COME TRUE!

Details about several Sponsorship opportunities for the 2024 shootout will be released soon.

AASF SCHOLARSHIPS

The Ashley Weinhold Scholarship is one of at least
eight other Scholarships given out by the
Austin Athletics Scholarship Foundation each year to deserving student athletes.

AASF SCHOLARSHIPS

Each scholarship is named after an individual with a deep connection to Austin Tennis Academy, such as Josh Hagar, who has made significant contributions to the ATA community over the years.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

The other named Scholarships include: Callie Creath Scholarship, Sterling Wilson Leadership Scholarship, Esmeralda Werbeck Scholarship, Roger Gubser Scholarship, Lindsey Pereira Leadership Scholarship, John Scott Scholarship, and Cameron Dabaghi Scholarship.

CHALLENGE FROM JACK

At one recent Shootout, Coach Jack Newman personally matched up to the first $1,000 for each of the eight named scholarships — that was $8,000 out of his own pocket. This year, he’s asking what can you do to positively impact a child and their future through the sport of tennis? Click on the donate button below and help us make this the best year yet for AASF!
